Refund and Returns Policy

We are proud of the products that we sell.
All listed products are subjected to various quality control standards and Manufacturer checks however errors or defects in manufactured products do occur from time to time.

Should you not be satisfied with the quality of your purchased product, please notify us within 30 days and we will gladly exchange it for you!

Returning products that are not defective

  • If for any reason you wish to return your product/s, you (the customer) may do so within 30 days of the products being collected by you or delivered to you subject to the following: 
  • The product/s have not been used, are complete, in their original condition, and sealed in their original packaging. A 10% re packaging fee will be charged on returned items that are not in their original packaging and subject to the discretion of Gas Guard Cages. 
  • The customer is liable for the return shipping costs of the product equal to the shipping cost on the initial order. In the event that the customer took advantage of a Free delivery offer, the return shipping cost will calculated at 15% of the product price.

     Returning products that are defective or damaged

  • It is the Customerโ€™s responsibility to thoroughly inspect all goods upon delivery before signing that the goods have been received. 
  • If the product or product packaging is damaged on arrival, you should refuse delivery of any such product, clearly not on the delivery note or waybill that you have not received the goods with a brief description of why the delivery was refused. You should also advise us of refused delivery by sending an email to info@gasguardcages.co.za 
    If damage to a product/s only becomes apparent after delivery, Please notify us within 48 hours to report the damage. In these instances, the return/replacement of the product is at the discretion of Gas Guard Cages and we are entitled to request pictures of the damaged products before a collection is processed. 
  • Gas Guard Cages will always endeavour to solve problems with damaged items as speedily and fairly as possible. 

Cancellations and Fees 

  • The customer may cancel their order without penality at any stage prior to the product being dispatched for delivery.
    Shipping chargers will not be refundable on dispatched orders that have left our premisis.

Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
  • The turnaround time on refunds is 7 working days.
